Rubber Compound Technology

Currently, only the sponge rubber compound recipe made me boring. In the production process of this compound is need the seriously control production process each step. If made something or any condition different from standard. It’s usually occur the problem at customer process. And this problem cannot detect by the inspection process.

How to control the production process of sponge rubber compound is still my question now ?

Contamination problem look easy but difficult to eliminate ??

Contamination problem in the rubber mixing process is difficult to eliminate.It’s sound easy but very difficult to take it out 100% completely.

In my production process, I have found lot of foreign material contaminated. Some it clearly understand the contamination cause but some foreign material still the question mark ?. It need to find out where it come from.

Below is some of material and how to find it out.

1. Metal : it’s easy to find out just install the metal detector in your process.
2. Plastic: It may come from the packaging.
3. Wooden: It may come from raw material package.
4. Stone : Your process, and raw material such as Calcium Carbonate, Clay

Glass run usually made from EPDM rubber compound. It need very good of dispersion of all material. From my experience some time surface problem can be occur. Cause of problem usually  come from quality of raw material especially carbon black.
